The aim of the Registry is to support research to improve services for people with communication difficulties and their family members and friends.
Members of the Communication Research Registry are invited to participate in research projects of interest to them. This may include doing:
- Therapy trials (including therapy over the internet)
- Surveys / questionnaires
- Interviews
- Assessments
Members can choose which research projects they would like to do. There is never any obligation to participate.
Members receive a free yearly newsletter. The newsletter provides an update on important research that has been done. Click here to see an sample copy of the latest newsletter.
Members are invited to complete a yearly survey. This survey asks about research topics that are important to them and how the Registry could be improved. It also asks for member's feedback. Member's opinions are very important to the Communication Research Registry.
Sometimes we also celebrate the wonderful contributions and achievements of members through special events.
